Chicken Rolls Cost depends on how many your making and if you buy a whole or just chicken breast. $15-$25 for this dinner. ---6 Large Boneless skinless chicken breast trim fat and place in a crock-pot of water for 6 to 7 hours (I like it done this way, so chicken falls apart and I will not have to spend time dicing it.) ---1/2 Cup chopped Celery ---1/2 Cup Chopped Green Onion ---Salt & Pepper to taste ---2 Tbls Olive oil ---2 to 4 Box 1/3 Fat Neufchatel Cream Cheese, I used 3 ---4-6 Cans Big & Flaky Crescent Rolls or the light (but the bigger ones are easier to work with) -Place oil in pan and heat then once hot sauté salt, pepper, green onion, and celery. -Place cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for about 2 minutes just enough to make it soft, then combined onion mixture to the cream cheese. -Add chicken to cheese mixture and mix (You should not have to dice the chicken if it was cooked all day in a crock-pot.) -For Crescent rolls let them sit on th...

Caramel Peach Cobbler Filling 1 Cup Sugar 1 ½ Tbls flour 1 Cup of peach juice drain from peaches 1 Jar of homemade canned peaches sliced or 1 29oz can of Margaret Holmes O’sage        Peaches Raggedy Ripe Freestone 1 ½ Tbls unsalted butter 1 Tbls Caramel syrup 2 tsp nutmeg 2 tsp cinnamon In a saucepan, mix sugar, flour, peach juice, and butter bring to a boil and reduce to low add in caramel, nutmeg, and cinnamon and cook on low. Set peaches aside Dough 1 1/3 Cup flour 1 Tbls sugar 1 ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 3 Tbls of Lard 2 Tbls of Butter Crisco 2/3 cup organic whole milk In a medium bowl mix, all stir about 50 stirs with wooden spoon making sure you do not see any white clumps of lard.  Set aside Mix peaches into saucepan and pour into small casserole dish, than drop six spoonfuls of dough over peaches. Caramel Apple Pie

Caramel Apple Pie: 5-6 apples pealed and sliced, 1/2 C.of flour, ½ Cup brown sugar, 4 large shakes of cinnamon, 1 bottle .4oz smucker’s sundae syrup “caramel”, mix toget her in large mixing bowl add ½ bottle of caramel. Pour into uncooked pie-crust then add 3 tablespoons butter on top of apples, use a crumb top instead of a crust top. Bake 350* for an hour after pie, cools add a little more caramel. Pie-crust: 2 C. flour, 1 C. Butter Crisco, ½ C. Ice Cold water, 1 tsp. black walnut flavoring, ½ tsp salt. First mix together water and flavoring, than mix everything set in the fridge for 1-2 hours, roll out should make two pies. (but I like my crust thick so I only get one pie out of this much dough) Turn pie pan upside down and cut crust 1 to 1 ½ inches bigger than top of pie pan. Place crust in pan, make it look even than take the extra length of crust and fold it under so you can make a nice edge. Brush crust with milk or melted butter before adding mixture. Crum...

Scalloped Macaroni and Ham 1 ½ Cup dried elbow macaroni 1 Large chopped onion 4 Tablespoons butter 4 Tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon snipped fresh basil or 1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed (I use extra and crush it more) 1 tsp Salt ½ teaspoon pepper 3 Cups Milk (Best made with whole milk) 2 Cups diced fully cooked ham 2 Cups frozen peas or one bag of frozen peas & carrots (I use frozen peas and carrot mix or broccoli or asparagus) 1 ½ cup 100% whole wheat double fiber soft bread crumbs (ground in a one cup food processor) ½ Stick melted Butter 1. Cook macaroni about 10 minutes or until tender but still firm. Drain well. 2. Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium saucepan cook onion in the 4 tablespoons of butter until tender but not brown. Stir in flour, basil, Salt, and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat. 3.  Stir in the cooked macaroni, ham, and frozen peas. Sausage Potato Soup 10 to 13 Red potatoes (you do not have to peal) dice into small cubes 1 pound of regular breakfast sausage 1 large onion chopped ¼ or 1/3 cup diced green onion 1 gallon or 1/2 gallon of whole milk or fat free ½ tsp of salt and pepper  and no more than that because you add more to your bowl. In a large pot fry together sausage, onion, salt, and pepper, than add diced red potatoes. Pour in milk, cover with milk ¼ to ½ inch above the potatoes and sausage Cook on medium heat until the potatoes are cooked all the way through. Be careful the milk can burn easily so stir often and lower temp if need be. 5 Minutes before your serve soup add in green onion. Each person can add butter, salt, and pepper to each bowl if they want. Make homemade dinner rolls to dip into your soup.
