Chicken Rolls
Cost depends on how many your making and if you buy a whole or just chicken
breast. $15-$25 for this dinner.
---6 Large Boneless skinless chicken breast trim fat and
place in a crock-pot of water for 6 to 7 hours (I like it done this way, so
chicken falls apart and I will not have to spend time dicing it.)
---1/2 Cup chopped Celery
---1/2 Cup Chopped Green Onion
---Salt & Pepper to taste
---2 Tbls Olive oil
---2 to 4 Box 1/3 Fat Neufchatel Cream Cheese, I used 3
---4-6 Cans Big & Flaky Crescent Rolls or the light (but
the bigger ones are easier to work with)
-Place oil in pan and heat then once hot sauté salt, pepper, green onion, and celery.
-Place cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for about 2 minutes just enough to
make it soft, then combined onion mixture to the cream cheese.
-Add chicken to cheese mixture and mix (You should not have
to dice the chicken if it was cooked all day in a crock-pot.) -For Crescent rolls let them sit on the counter to warm up
there easier to work with when there warm to room temperature unfold the
crescent then roll drop a spoonful of chicken mixture on the roll and roll it
up. -Place on a half sheet bakers sheet with parchment paper and cook at 350* until
golden brown.
